What You Should Be Focusing On Enhancing Item Upgrading

World of Warcraft - Item Upgrading

Upgrades to items allow players to increase an item's gear score up to 700 and also add a final perk. Items can be upgraded if they are in your inventory and you bring them to the kiln.

Certain items can be upgraded for their unique stats (like perfect broken point armour that is rolled for melee PvP) and others, like weapons, do not vary greatly post upgrade, and therefore aren't worth upgrading.

Weapons

Upgrades to weapons can improve their numerical stats, like attack damage, crit probability and PvE/PvP damage. Weapons have a flat-rate bonus that increases damage per second. In addition there are many weapons with a set bonus which is activated when three or more of the same weapon are present on a single unit. In certain instances, this bonus could add up to more than the amount of damage that a weapon can sustain on its own.

The cost of upgrading a weapon is based on the quality of the weapon and its current level. For instance, an upgrade to a +2 weapon requires two regular Smithing Stones while a+3 requires four. The number of stones needed to upgrade a weapon will continue rise until it requires an upgrade to a higher level of Smithing Stones, at which the number will be reset to one.

The upgrade of weapons can also change their base stats. While  item upgrader  is generally a good thing, it can have some negative consequences as well. In the case of items that are only used in a certain build (Whistant's shield for FB sorcs, for instance), upgrading them may render them unusable unless you happen to have an extremely lucky roll.

Armor items can be upgraded to improve their stats. For instance, if you have a helm or chest, this will increase its defense base while gloves and belts will enhance their required strength and dexterity. Armor also has the option of rerolling its Enhanced Defense%, meaning that it can sometimes roll back to a lower number.

The upgrade template of a weapon will display the new stats that it will gain when upgrading, as well as the relative value of those stats. This means that a change from a sword with 8 damage to an 11-attack-damage sword will result in the weapon gaining an attack damage of 3. However the 3% does not mean that it will hit 3 times less often, since it is an absolute number.

Rerolling a weapon can be possible by pressing the green button on the item menu using the arrows that circle. This will roll the item and change its stats, however, it will not reset the weapon's levels or tie it to the account status.

Armor

A few tweaks to your armor can make a huge differences in your capacity to withstand. Certain sets can offer massive improvements in the resistance to curses, poisons fire, magic, and other. This can make it easier to navigate difficult areas. Generally speaking, the more defense your character has, the more value you can get from each point of health you possess, so it's important to upgrade your armor as much as you can.

To upgrade your armor, go to one of the Great Fairy Fountains in the game. There are four fountains in all and each one requires you to complete a special side quest that involves the Stable Trotters musical troupe. Once you've completed the main quest, and the corresponding fountains, you can talk to any Great Fairy in order to unlock the menu for upgrading armor.

The amount of materials needed to upgrade each piece of armor will vary. You'll need anywhere from three Red Chuchu jelly and 10 Rupees to upgrade the first armor piece, and anywhere between five Rubies or 10 Fire-Breath Lizalfos Horns to upgrade each subsequent one. For instance the Champion Leathers can be upgraded to +5 defense, allowing you to keep pace with a large group of adversaries in most cold environments and the Snowquill Headdress can be upgraded to +20 defense, providing the protection needed to survive an entire raid with a handful of friends.

Note that armor can't be upgraded in the same manner as weapons, so you'll want to work on enhancing it to increase physical power if you're a Warrior or Spell Power in the case of a Mage. It is also recommended to save your armor upgrades to upgrade the armor you'll still be wearing at the end of the story, such as the Ring of Lightning, Spectral Shield or the mask you wear in the final boss fight the Monter Parts Merchant Mask.

You can also unlock some perks for your armor by presenting the jeweler at Gerudo Town 10 Twinkling Titanite. In general, you should keep these upgrades for the weapon you'll use to win the game like the Longsword, Battleaxe or Warhammer, but it can be useful to have a few upgrades of the helmets and chest armor that let you stealthy battle some monsters.

Potions

Potions are liquid substances that, when consumed provide the user with a temporary status effect. There are five different types of potions, each having a specific set of effects and durations. Some potions can be upgraded, increasing their effectiveness. Alternatively the effects of certain potions can be enhanced by adding redstone or glowstone dust them.

Potion upgrades require a certain amount XP. This can be earned through crafting them on a craft table, or by storing them in the Alchemist chest. However, the cost of upgrading changes depending on what type of potion you want to upgrade, and also on the item's Mark Level and Rarity.

To upgrade a potion, click right on it in your inventory and select the "Upgrade" option from the menu. This will open an GUI which allows you to select the potion you wish to upgrade, and the amount of experience they will provide when upgraded. Upgrades to potions can be made in batches of up to five at a single time, and the XP they provide will be added to your current XP level.

Once a potion is upgraded, it will not degrade in the event that you make use of it again or break the bottle in which it is kept. Clicking on the potion in your inventory will also allow you to change the name of the potion.

There were some changes to the mechanics of potion in version 1.7.2. Splash potions, for instance have now a duration of zero, not the 22.5 seconds displayed on the item hover display. The potion table can now be crafted with four Wood Planks and two Glass. This allows it to be utilized by players playing Survival and Bedrock. Bedrock Edition potions aren't compatible with cauldrons like Java Edition. Also, putting a potion on a full cauldron, it drains the contents and refills the bottle.

In addition, there are simmering potions made using splash and dragon breath potions. In the same way, a lingering potion' effect is extended by adding redstone. The table of potions has been rearranged to appear more like the Java Edition. New potions have also been added such as the potion of leaping as well as decomposition.

Trinkets

A trinket can be an ornamental item that is small, cheap or piece jewelry. It may also refer to an object or ornament that serves a function but isn't particularly significant such as a trinket. In some cultures a trinket is a way to express affection or friendship between family members.

Players can upgrade trinkets as well as weapons or armor, as well as potions. Upgrades can be purchased by paying the appropriate currency to an upgrade vendor. Trinkets, unlike other items which can be upgraded can be traded at will without losing stats.

The upgrade vendors are located in major cities and in the capital of each zone, as well as in in dungeons. Upgrades for trinkets can be bought with tokens, gold or fragments of rare trinkets.

Upgrades are a cost-effective alternative to buying a brand new trinket. It is possible to upgrade a player for less than 12 tokens. The new trinket has the same level of base as the old trinket but it also comes with an additional 1% bonus upgrade.

Once the old Trinkets have become no longer useful, they can be upgraded. This allows players to increase their power and value over time. They can also be traded between players, making them an attractive alternative to gold.

In general players should upgrade their top-priority items first. This means that the top-in slot items for each class are first upgraded then their secondary gear, and then other pieces of equipment that won't be replacing anytime soon (such as an earring or a cloak). When deciding on which items to upgrade, players should also consider the preferred statistics of their class. For instance, if Haste and Crit are the two most important stats for tanks, they should prioritize upgrading their chest, helm shoulders, belt, and chest.

Trinkets are able to be upgraded to a higher ilvl after they no longer have value, and the new trinket will have an additional upgrade bonus of 1. Re-upgrading will destroy the trinket unless it can be salvaged with the Black Lion Salvage Kit, or a salvage tool. This means upgrading trinkets is more expensive than other upgrades, but is still cheaper than buying a new one.
